Missing One Tooth

If you are missing one tooth, it's important to get it replaced. If you don't, the teeth on either side will tip into the empty space, and the tooth below will drift up. This causes your bite to go out of alignment, which can lead to complicated problems such as TMJ disorder, periodontitis, or other problems with the teeth.

You have two primary options for replacing the missing tooth—a dental implant or a dental bridge.
