Phoenix Implant Dentist
Choose your implant dentist carefully.
|
| Dental implants are
being placed by many dentists these days. They have become the first choice option
for missing teeth. But while some cases are fairly straightforward,
many are
quite complex and require more expertise than most dentists possess.
Dr. Arthur Chal, a Phoenix implant dentist who practices in the cosmopolitan Camelback
corridor linking Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona, is a recognized
expert in placing dental implants. He is a Fellow of the International College of Oral
Implantology, an international lecturer, and a pioneer in complex
oral rehabilitation. For further information, check his list of
credentials and awards. |

Case Study Illustrates Importance of Selecting Your Implant Dentist
Carefully
Brenda was referred to Dr. Chal by Mayo Clinic,
Scottsdale, Arizona. She had dental implant treatment which had been performed in California
and was having serious problems with that treatment - persistent
infections, numbness, and constant pain in her
lower lip.
|

Brenda - before |
When Dr. Chal examined her, he found that three
upper implants had been placed in her nose and
that the
lower fixtures were compressing the nerve to her
lower lip. He also found that some of them
were were loose, leaving openings for infection.
These are problems,
unfortunately, that are occurring too frequently, when
implants are placed without careful planning including
thorough radiographic studies, and when substandard
fixtures are used.
|
Fortunately, Dr. Chal was able to
rectify all of these matters for Brenda, as the happy
"after" photograph below illustrates.
|

Brenda - after |
After Dr. Chal restored her mouth, Brenda's sister
commented that she looks ten years younger.
To read more about Brenda's
case study, see the page "Brenda's
Dental Implant Story" on Dr. Chal's main web site.
It is very helpful in understanding the importance of
having an expert implant dentist perform your
treatment.
In helping Brenda, Dr. Chal and his technician, Bruce Keeling, pioneered a new fixed
retrievable hybrid technique. They have subsequently
been teaching this technique to international
audiences of dentists and technicians. |
